The Rode VideoMic Me Directional Mic is a compact and lightweight microphone designed for use with smartphones. It features an in-built 3.5mm TRRS output for direct connection to a smartphone's headphone socket. The VideoMic Me is ideal for shooting mobile videos, offering better audio quality than your phone's built-in microphone. It’s also perfect for recording voiceovers or ADR on the go. The flexible mounting bracket accommodates a wide range of smartphones, allowing it to be used for both primary camera and front camera ('selfie') shots. A 3.5mm headphone jack on the rear enables audio play-through while recording (app-dependent) and makes it easy to play back videos without removing the microphone. The VideoMic Me is equipped with a Pressure Gradient Electret Condenser Acoustic Principle, JFET impedance converter, and a 0.50" capsule. It has an address type of End, a frequency range of 100Hz-20kHz, a maximum SPL of 140dBSPL, a sensitivity of -33.0dB re 1 Volt/Pascal (22.00mV @ 94 dB SPL) +/- 2 dB @ 1kHz, and an equivalent noise level (A-weighted) of 20dBA. It also includes a deluxe furry windshield for shooting outdoors or in adverse weather conditions. This mic is an excellent choice for mobile video recording and has been used in various television shows. However, the latest Rode VideoMic Me Directional Mic does not come with a warranty.
