The Zhiyun Weebill 2S 3-Axis Handheld Gimbal Stabilizer is an upgraded version of the Crane-2, designed to meet the evolving demands of filmmakers. With its advanced 9th Instune Algorithm, the CRANE 2S enhances the response of each axis, enabling stabilization of larger cameras such as the Blackmagic Pocket 6K, Panasonic S1H, and Canon EOS 1DX Mark II, along with additional accessories. The gimbal features specialized mounting hooks for adding an optional Zhiyun-Tech TransMount transmitter, enabling collaborative setups. One notable update is the vertical quick-release mount, allowing you to position your camera vertically to cater to the growing demand for social media content. Additionally, the gimbal integrates new FlexMount technology for easy camera mounting, streamlining setup while providing double-safety protection. A two-phase locking design has been introduced in the axis-locking mechanism, ensuring that the gimbal components stay secure during transport and storage. The carbon fiber grip handle enhances comfort by making the gimbal feel lighter in your hand. The built-in handwheel has been improved for ultra-low latency when operating an add-on lens motor (sold separately), allowing for precise adjustments. (You can use the handwheel to switch between focus or zoom motors if both are in use.) A 1/4"-20 thread on the bottom of the handle lets you attach the included micro tripod, which can be used as a stand or an extension for better control. The gimbal supports advanced cinematic features like panorama, time-lapse, motion-lapse, and long exposure time-lapse through the iOS/Android app, enabling unique effects. Many gimbal settings can be customized via the app, and critical modes and parameters are accessible directly from the 0.96" OLED screen above the handle. The CRANE 2S is compatible with specialized Zhiyun-Tech TransMount accessories like servo motors, and its fast-release plate works with a variety of tripod heads, allowing easy switching between the gimbal, tripods, sliders, and other supports. It also includes lens control and multiple camera control connections for a complete workflow.
