The Zhiyun-Tech CRANE 2S, an upgraded version of the Crane-2, brings significant enhancements to better meet the needs of filmmakers. Featuring a new-generation 9th Instune Algorithm, the CRANE 2S improves the reactivity of each axis, allowing it to stabilize larger cameras such as the Blackmagic Pocket 6K, Panasonic S1H, and Canon EOS 1DX Mark II, along with various accessories. Designed to support collaborative filmmaking, the CRANE 2S includes dedicated mounting points for attaching an optional Zhiyun-Tech TransMount transmitter. The gimbal's carbon fiber grip handle reduces weight, providing a lighter feel during use. The updated built-in handwheel on the handle offers near-zero latency when controlling an optional lens motor (sold separately), allowing for precise adjustments. It can be configured to control either focus or zoom motors when both are used. A 1/4"-20 thread on the bottom of the handle lets you attach the included micro tripod for use as a stand or as an extension for additional control. Advanced cinematic functions like panorama, time-lapse, motion-lapse, and long exposure time-lapse can be executed through the associated iOS/Android mobile app, enabling the creation of unique effects. Many gimbal settings can be adjusted via the app, and key modes and parameters are easily accessible from the 0.96" OLED screen above the handle. The CRANE 2S also supports a variety of Zhiyun-Tech TransMount accessories, such as servo motors, for enhanced functionality. Its quick-release plate is compatible with standard tripod heads, making it easy to move your camera between the gimbal, tripods, sliders, and other supports. A lens control and various camera control connections are included for a comprehensive workflow.
