Ports 1-16 support IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at PoE standards, with each port providing up to 30W of PoE power. The switch has a total PoE power budget of 135W, capable of supplying power and data exchange over CAT5 cables to devices such as APs, IP cameras, and IP phones. To streamline network management, the switch offers modes such as CCTV, VLAN, and Extend, helping reduce cabling costs for IP devices. In real-world installations, cameras and APs are often positioned outdoors or in elevated locations, increasing the likelihood of lightning strikes that can damage equipment and disrupt the local area network (LAN). To counter this, the Tenda TEF11 series switches include 6KV lightning protection for both ports and power supply, effectively mitigating the impact of lightning strikes and safeguarding the entire network.
